Delhi to Launch New Healthcare Centers, Ayushman Arogya Mandirs
Delhi is opening new healthcare centers called Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, offering health services close to where people live.
These centers will perform tests for common illnesses and provide prenatal and postnatal care.
Each center will have several staff members, like doctors and pharmacists.
Also, there are now more dialysis machines available.
The government is working to reduce staff shortages and make healthcare better for everyone, including offering help for stress.
Delhi is launching 33 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs) to provide doorstep healthcare.
AAMs will offer 14 routine screening tests, including for blood sugar, HIV, and malaria.
Each AAM will have 6-7 staff members, including medical professionals.
The number of dialysis machines has doubled, and staff shortages are decreasing.
Integrated stress management centers are planned within hospitals.
