1975-76 batch alumni pledge Rs 50 lakh for Vijayawada school

Some people who went to the same school together many years ago decided to help their old school.

These former students studied at a boys' school in Vijayawada during the 1975-76 school year.

Now they are grown up, and some of them live in other countries.

They promised to give more than fifty lakh rupees to improve the school.

The money will be used to build a dining hall where students can eat their meals.

It will also pay for an auditorium for school events and performances.

The school ground will get a fence around it to keep it safe.

A small room for the watchman will also be built.

The former students visited the school and talked with the teachers to learn what was needed.

The teachers and students were very happy and thanked the visitors for their help.
