India Develops Anti-Stealth Radar Grid
India has created a new kind of radar system called the Passive Coherent Location Radar (PCLR).
This system helps India's air defence detect stealthy aircraft like the US F-35, Russia's Su-57, and China's J-35.
Unlike regular radars, PCLR doesn't send out its own signals.
Instead, it uses existing FM radio waves to find and track these stealthy planes.
This makes it very hard for enemies to detect or disable.
The system is part of a larger network called the Low Observable Detection Network (LODN), which works with other radars to provide better protection.
Right now, the system is being tested to make sure it works well with existing radars and command systems.
India has developed an anti-stealth radar grid to counter 5th-generation fighter jets and other stealth aerial threats.
The Passive Coherent Location Radar (PCLR) uses commercial FM radio broadcasts to detect and track stealth aircraft without emitting its own signals.
The system is part of the Low Observable Detection Network (LODN), which complements traditional radar systems for improved air defence.
PCLR is designed to be difficult to locate, target, or disable, making it highly effective against modern stealth aircraft.
The system is currently undergoing integration trials to ensure seamless coordination with existing radar assets and command-and-control interfaces.

Indian Defence Research Wing
A government organization responsible for defense research and development in India.
“PCLR is configured as a passive multistatic radar, with multiple receivers deployed across different locations to track the same target from various angles. According to the Indian Defence Research Wing, this distributed architecture makes the system extremely difficult to locate, target or disable, as there is no single transmitter that can be attacked.”
