India Shines at International Science Olympiads
India did really well at a big science competition called the International Biology Olympiad.
Four Indian students went to Lithuania and all of them won medals.
One student, Bhavyaa Gunwal, won a gold medal, and the other three won silver medals.
The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, was very happy and proud of them.
The competition had tough tests on biology topics like how tiny parts of living things work and how plants and animals are studied.
India has been doing great in other science competitions too, like in physics and chemistry.
Lots of people helped train these students, and the government supports these science programs.
India won 1 gold and 3 silver medals at the 37th International Biology Olympiad in Vilnius, Lithuania.
All four Indian participants secured medals, competing against 307 students from 78 countries.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the winners, highlighting their success in advanced biology topics.
The Olympiad featured rigorous practical and theory examinations covering various biological sciences.
India's success in biology follows recent gold medal sweeps in the International Physics and Chemistry Olympiads.
