Shah Rukh Khan recalls Ajmer Sharif’s Rs 5,000 prophecy
When Shah Rukh Khan was young, he took his sick mother to Ajmer Sharif to pray for her.
She gave him Rs 5,000 to look after.
He later noticed that the money was missing.
A fakir at the shrine asked him about the exact amount he had lost.
The fakir said Shah Rukh would one day earn Rs 500 crore.
Shah Rukh said he was not always sure he believed in such predictions.
However, he remembered this event because the fakir’s prediction seemed to come true in his successful life.
He also said the visit was mainly about praying for his mother, whose blessings he still remembers.
Before becoming a major film star, Shah Rukh Khan visited Ajmer Sharif with his seriously ill mother.
His mother gave him Rs 5,000 to keep safe while they carried a chadar to the shrine.
After the money went missing, a fakir reportedly asked whether Khan had lost Rs 5,000.
The fakir told him he would not leave empty-handed and would eventually earn Rs 500 crore.
Khan said the experience stayed with him and that he felt blessed by Ajmer Sharif, though he viewed the incident as being about more than money.
