Kolkata children with club foot celebrate at Champions Day
In Kolkata, a special event called Club Foot Champions Day was held for children who were born with club foot, a condition where their feet are twisted inward.
Around 120 children participated in races and games, showing how far they've come in their treatment.
Many of these children were once hidden away because of the stigma around club foot, but now they can run and play like any other child.
Their parents watched with joy and tears, seeing their children achieve what was once thought impossible.
The event was organized by the Kids Orthopedic Clinic, led by Dr. Soumya Paik, who hopes these children can live normal lives without the fear of stigma.

Club foot is a congenital condition that affects mobility and is often stigmatized in society.
The event was organized by the Kids Orthopedic Clinic under the leadership of Dr. Soumya Paik.
Children who once arrived at the clinic carried by their parents were now running and playing independently.
Treatment for club foot involves surgery, wearing a cast, and rehabilitation, which can be life-changing.
