EU, 26 Countries Condemn Iran's Executions of Protesters

A group of countries got together and said that Iran is doing something very bad.

They said Iran is putting protesters in jail and even executing them.

Executing someone means putting them to death as a punishment, which this group thinks is wrong.

A man named Jean-Noel Barrot, who helps with France's foreign relationships, shared their message.

He said that 26 countries and the European Union all agreed on this.

They asked Iran to listen to its own people instead.

They want Iran to treat people fairly and respect human rights.

Human rights are the basic freedoms and kindness every person should have.

They also want Iran to stop using the death penalty right away.

And they asked Iran to let go of people who were arrested without a good reason.
