India Reaffirms Non-Proliferation and Peaceful Nuclear Energy Commitments at UN
India sent a team to a big meeting at the United Nations.
The team told everyone that India really believes in stopping bad people from getting dangerous weapons like bombs.
They also said India is good at using nuclear power for helpful things, like making electricity and helping with science, and that they support the world's nuclear watch group, the IAEA.
India has strong rules to make sure this all happens safely and securely.
They are proud of their own nuclear power plants and research, and want to keep using nuclear technology for good things, like fighting climate change and helping countries grow, all while being a responsible country.
