Nashik BLOs to Verify Voter Claims Before SIR Hearings
Election officers in Nashik will visit some voters at home.
They will check whether voter information and documents are correct.
This is part of a process called the Special Intensive Revision, or SIR.
People may have asked to add, remove or correct names on voter lists.
They may also have requested an address change.
After the home visits, officials will hold hearings about these requests.
