Sensex, Nifty Rebound on Crude Oil Drop
The Indian stock markets had a big bounce back on Monday after five days of losses.
The Sensex went up by 776 points, and the Nifty also went up by 228 points.
This happened because the price of oil went down a lot, and there were fewer worries about conflicts in West Asia.
Many different types of stocks did well, like those in IT, real estate, and auto industries.
Some experts think the market will keep going up, but others say it might go down if it doesn't stay above a certain level.
Foreign investors sold some stocks, but overall, the market felt better because of the lower oil prices and less worry about inflation.
The Sensex gained 776.01 points (1.02%) to close at 76,835.78.
The Nifty advanced 228.50 points (0.96%) to settle at 23,995.95.
Brent crude plunged 9.40% to $87.64 per barrel.
Top Sensex gainers included Eternal, InterGlobe Aviation, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Asian Paints, and Mahindra & Mahindra.
Sectoral indices like IT, Realty, Auto, and Hospitals performed well.
