India Post GDS 2026 Registration Dates and Eligibility Explained

India Post is accepting applications for Gramin Dak Sevak jobs in 2026.

People can apply for Branch Postmaster and Assistant Branch Postmaster positions.

The main application deadline is September 21, 2026.

Applicants must complete one-time registration by September 19, 2026.

The application fee is Rs 100 for eligible applicants.

Women, SC/ST applicants, PwBD applicants, and Transwomen applicants do not have to pay it.

Applicants must generally be 18 to 40 years old.

They must have passed Class 10 with Mathematics and English and studied the local language.

They also need computer knowledge, bicycle-riding ability, and adequate means of livelihood.
