ABVP Protests Near Karnataka Chief Minister’s Residence Over KPSC Irregularities

ABVP students held protests in Bengaluru about alleged unfairness in government job exams.

They said some KPSC recruitment processes may have had serious irregularities.

They asked for a Central Bureau of Investigation inquiry.

Some protesters blocked roads near Mourya Circle and other locations.

Police tried to disperse the crowd and detained several people.

The protesters also criticized the government and called it anti-student.

The Karnataka Cabinet decided to recommend suspending KPSC Chairman Shivashankarappa S Sahukar.

This followed a court ruling that said his earlier suspension did not follow the required constitutional procedure.
