Apple Expected to Unveil New Smart Home Devices October 13
Apple may announce three new home gadgets on October 13.
One is a small screen that can help control things in a house.
It may recognize different family members and show each person their own information.
It could also make video calls, play music, and show photos.
Apple may update the HomePod mini and Apple TV with faster computer chips.
The HomePod mini could come in new colors, such as pink and green.
These products were reportedly delayed because Apple wanted Siri AI to work with them.
Apple is also working on other home products for the future.
Apple is reportedly preparing a smart home hub, updated HomePod mini, and refreshed Apple TV for October 13.
The hub, code-named J490, is expected to feature a roughly six-inch screen, household-member recognition, and smart-home controls.
The device may support FaceTime calls, music, photos, and Apple apps, but reportedly will not have an App Store at launch.
The HomePod mini and Apple TV are expected to retain their designs while receiving faster chips for Siri AI support.
The products were reportedly delayed from 2024 while Apple worked to make Siri AI ready for the launch.
