Goa Doctors Call Off Strike After CM Intervention, Symbolic Apology

Doctors in Goa were upset because the Health Minister scolded a senior doctor in public.

They wanted a public apology and changes to how things work in hospitals.

The Chief Minister visited, listened to their concerns, and agreed to make some changes.

The doctors then called off their planned strike.

They received an apology to the chair representing the insulted doctor.

They also agreed to stop "VIP culture" in the hospitals, which means everyone should be treated the same, no matter who they are.
