Delhi cancels 4.20 lakh ration cards in 10 years

This was done to make sure the system is fair and only people who really need help get ration cards.
They check everyone using their Aadhaar number to make sure no fake cards are given.
New cards are only given when there are openings, like when someone moves away or passes away.
In 2025, they started a new process called e-KYC to check everyone again because there were some problems.
They also make sure to process new applications in the order they come in.
