BJP MP Files FIR Against Fake Facebook Account
A politician named Manoj Tiwari, who is a member of the BJP party, found out that someone created a fake Facebook account using his name and picture.
This account even had a blue tick, which usually means it's a verified account.
Manoj Tiwari said he didn't create this account and it was being run by someone else without his permission.
He asked the police to investigate and take strict action against the people involved.
The police have started looking into the matter.
The fake account was posting misleading content, including criticism of the now-stayed UGC regulations.
Tiwari is also a popular Bhojpuri singer and actor.

The fake account, titled 'Manoj Tiwari BJP', was active and had a blue verification tick.
Tiwari stated that the account was created and operated without his consent or authorization.
The FIR was lodged at the Cyber Police Station in New Delhi district on January 25.
The Delhi Police have initiated a probe into the matter under the Information Technology Act and Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita.
