Karnataka Chetan Ahimsa Plans New Political Party Launch in January
Chetan Ahimsa is a famous actor in India who also works to help people and protect nature.
He told reporters that he wants to start a brand-new political party in Karnataka.
A political party is a group of people who work together to make decisions for the state.
Chetan thinks Karnataka needs a different kind of party than the ones that already exist.
He wants his party to focus on the environment and bring people together who want something new.
He has already started visiting towns and cities across Karnataka to talk to people.
Chetan says the new party will officially begin in January next year.
He also said some other parties are not clear about what they believe.
He is against a big housing project called the Bidadi township because it may harm the environment.
He believes leaders should care about nature everywhere, not just in some places.
Actor-activist Chetan Ahimsa announced he is working to launch a new political party in Karnataka focused on the environment.
The party will be formally launched in January next year, and he has begun travelling across the state to mobilise support.
He said Karnataka needs a fresh political platform that unites people seeking an alternative to existing agendas.
