Nestle India's Net Profit Dips 13.4% in June Quarter
Imagine a big food company called Nestle in India.
They made less money this time, about 13% less, because things like ingredients got more expensive.
Even though they sold more stuff, the costs were higher.
They had to spend more on making things and borrowing money, which also cost more.
However, some costs are starting to go down a little, like the price of oil and cocoa.
While sales went up in India and for selling things to other countries, the company's shares went down a bit in value.
Nestle India reported a 13.4% decrease in consolidated net profit to ₹646.59 crore for the June 2025 quarter.
The company's revenue from product sales rose 5.86% to ₹5,073.96 crore in the same quarter.
Elevated commodity prices and higher operational costs significantly impacted the quarter.
Domestic sales increased by 5.45% to ₹4,860.01 crore; exports surged 16%.
Nestle India shares experienced a 4.66% decrease in trading value.
