Delhi HC hears plea alleging illegal detention of AAP MLA

Kuldeep Kumar is a politician who helps run the city of Delhi.

A man named Anil, who collected garbage for the city, was hurt and died while doing his job on Sunday morning.

Mr. Kumar joined the garbage collectors to protest and ask for money to help Anil's family.

Early the next morning, men not wearing uniforms came to Mr. Kumar's house and took him away.

They also broke the security cameras and took the recording device, according to Mr. Kumar's party.

Nobody would tell his family where he was, which made them very worried.

So they asked a big court called the Delhi High Court for help.

The court agreed to listen to their complaint that very day.

The workers want the city to give Anil's family one crore rupees and a permanent job for one family member.

Now everyone is waiting to see what happened to Mr. Kumar and what the court will decide.
