Ukraine Considers Criminal Case Against Belarus' Lukashenko

Ukraine is thinking about charging Belarus' President Alexander Lukashenko with serious crimes like war crimes and genocide.

This is because Lukashenko helped Russia attack Ukraine by letting them use Belarus as a starting point.

A group of people who oppose Lukashenko, called the Belarus Democratic Forum, asked Ukraine to do this.

They say Lukashenko also took Ukrainian children to Belarus, which Ukraine sees as a bad thing.

Lukashenko says he is just helping the children.

Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, has been stronger against Lukashenko lately, even telling him to stop helping Russian drones.

Lukashenko says he won't send his army to fight in Ukraine but is still helping Russia in other ways.

Some people think charging Lukashenko could make him more careful and might change things in Belarus.
