Palestine Envoy: India-Built West Bank Hospital in Two Years

India plans to help Palestine build a special hospital in the West Bank.

The Palestinian ambassador hopes it will be ready within two years.

He said the paperwork and order for the project had been completed, although road closures could cause delays.

India also plans to support a vocational training centre.

It is discussing artificial limbs for people in Gaza who lost limbs.

India has also been asked to provide dialysis machines and other medical supplies.

Indian and Palestinian officials are meeting to strengthen cooperation.

Palestine supports India’s effort to win a temporary United Nations Security Council seat and says India should eventually have a permanent one.
