Opposition Targets Omar Government Ahead Of J&K Assembly Session

The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly will meet for 10 days starting September 21.

Opposition parties say they will question the government about problems affecting people.

These problems include unemployment, alleged corruption and job outsourcing.

They also want answers about delayed elections for local councils and village bodies.

The BJP says the government has not kept some promises made during the 2024 elections.

One promise it mentioned was providing 200 units of free electricity.

The PDP also wants the government to address reservation rules and the status of daily-wage workers.

The National Conference says it is working on its promises and wants the opposition to debate responsibly.
