Soha Ali Khan Reveals Why She Uses AI for Parenting
Soha Ali Khan is an actor and a mom.
Her daughter's name is Inaaya.
Soha uses AI, a computer helper, when she wants parenting advice.
She asks AI to understand her daughter's behaviour.
Soha likes AI because it is always there, even late at night.
It never gets tired or busy like friends and family can be.
She knows AI is a machine and that its kind words may be part of its design.
Even so, she keeps asking it for help.
She jokes that she always says 'asking for a friend' so it sounds like the question is not for her.
Soha also wants Inaaya to see her real self, even when she is not perfect.
Soha Ali Khan revealed in an interview with Tweak India that she regularly uses AI for parenting advice, including to decode her daughter Inaaya's behaviour.
She said AI has 'a lot of time' for her that other people may not have, and often tells her what she wants to hear.
She is aware that AI's empathy may be part of its design and that information is fed to her, yet she voluntarily keeps going back.
She hopes her AI conversations stay private and always uses the phrase 'Asking for a friend,' advising others to 'never really ask for yourself guys.'
She said she hides no side of herself from Inaaya, who has seen her lose her temper and cry, adding that she is 'far from perfect.'
