170 Sheep Die After Eating Stale Food in Lucknow
A lot of sheep, about 170, died and more than 200 are very sick after eating old, spoiled food left over from a big event at Rashtriya Prerna Sthal in Lucknow.
The event was started by the Prime Minister on December 25.
The sheep ate the bad food and got very sick with big bellies, trouble breathing, and foam coming out of their mouths.
The people who take care of the sheep are very sad because they lost all their money and animals.
Doctors are trying to help the sick sheep.
Some groups are saying the people who organized the event did not clean up properly and are asking for help to punish them.
The government says 71 sheep died, but the shepherds say it's 170.

A medical team of 30 doctors is treating the surviving livestock, with the death toll disputed between 71 (official) and 170 (shepherds).
NGOs have filed a police complaint against the municipal corporation and event organizers for alleged gross negligence in failing to clean the venue.
