Opposition MPs Plan Delhi March Demanding Election Chief’s Resignation
Opposition lawmakers plan to walk from Parliament to the Election Commission’s office in Delhi.
They want Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar to resign.
They also want the election-roll revision exercise called the Special Intensive Revision to be withdrawn.
About 140 lawmakers are expected to take part.
Police and paramilitary personnel have been deployed along the route.
Authorities have also put up barricades and banned gatherings in the district.
