Disney Nominates Jeff Williams for Board
Disney has chosen Jeff Williams, who used to be a big boss at Apple, to join its board.
If people agree at a meeting in 2026, he will become one of 11 board members.
Jeff helped make the iPhone and Apple Watch.
Another tech expert, Carolyn Everson, is already on Disney's board.
This means Disney wants more tech knowledge in its team.
Disney nominated Jeff Williams, former Apple COO, for its board.
Williams' election would increase the board size to 11 members.
He retired from Apple earlier this year after serving as COO since 2015.
Williams was part of the team that launched the first iPhone and led the Apple Watch project.
Carolyn Everson, former president of Instacart, is the other tech executive on Disney's board.
