Women From Diverse Sections Tie Rakhis To Gujarat CM

Women from many communities gathered at Lok Bhavan in Gandhinagar to celebrate Raksha Bandhan.

They came from social groups, charities, the Brahma Kumaris and organisations supporting people with disabilities.

The women tied rakhis to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

They also prayed for his health and long life.

Patel welcomed them and accepted their good wishes.

Raksha Bandhan is a festival that celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters.

A rakhi is tied as a sign of affection and protection.

The event also highlighted the participation of women from different parts of society.
