Madhya Pradesh Minister Rejects Rollback of Guest Faculty Process

Madhya Pradesh Minister Rejects Rollback of Guest Faculty Process

Guest teachers in Madhya Pradesh are protesting a process called “fall-out.”

This process can replace a guest teacher when a regular teacher is appointed or transferred to the same job.

The protesters have been sitting outside Minister Inder Singh Parmar’s home in Bhopal.

Four representatives met the minister on Wednesday.

They said he told them the process would not be stopped.

The protesters also said he told them they could contest an election against him if they wanted.

The faculty members then stopped Union minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s convoy to seek help.

Chouhan reportedly said an announcement made by one chief minister should be fulfilled by the next chief minister.
