Ramayana Trailer Eases Audience Tensions Ahead of Diwali Release
Ramayana is a new movie about the story of Rama.
Its trailer made many viewers feel relieved and excited.
The movie is planned as a major Diwali release.
Director Nitesh Tiwari has worked on it for about six years.
He said the story changed how he thinks about being a son.
Ranbir Kapoor plays Rama and worked hard to understand the character.
He trained for a lean warrior-like body and became more meditative.
During one scene, he asked whether Rama should say “kshama,” meaning forgiveness, before shooting an arrow.
Tiwari felt this showed that Ranbir had deeply connected with Rama.

Director Nitesh Tiwari has spent about six years living with the project.
Producer Namit Malhotra has taken a prominent public role in presenting the film.
