Tamil Nadu Upgrades Anganwadi Centers and Aids Hospital Patients
Imagine special preschools called Anganwadi centers are getting a makeover!
The government is making them smarter with new TVs and clean water.
Also, people getting dialysis treatment at hospitals are now getting healthy meals with milk, eggs, and chickpeas to help them feel better.
The government is also giving free books and uniforms to the children who go to these centers.
This is to help the children be healthy and do well.
Because of all of these things, fewer babies are getting sick.
6,500 Anganwadi centers across Tamil Nadu have been upgraded.
Protein-rich meals are being distributed to dialysis patients in government hospitals.
The upgrades include fresh mural paintings, LED TVs, and RO water purifiers.
Books and uniforms will be distributed to children attending Anganwadi centers.
Underweight newborns are receiving special care, contributing to reduced infant mortality rates.
