Kirloskar Vasundhara Film Festival Brings Environmental Stories Back In Person

The Kirloskar Vasundhara International Film Festival uses films to teach people about the environment.

It will return to watching films in person after being held online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The festival will take place in Pune on August 22.

Its opening film is about a woman trying to recover a special watch from a sewage system.

Another film explores how plastic waste affects oceans and people.

A third film imagines a couple as different animals.

Students will watch films and discuss environmental changes and wildlife.

A folk dance and a student skit will also be part of the event.

The festival hopes stories will encourage people to care for nature and take action.
