L&T Hid Facts in Medigadda Barrage Construction: Report

The PC Ghose Commission investigated the Medigadda Barrage, part of a big water project.

They found the company that built it, L&T, also designed it.

The report says L&T knew about construction problems but didn't share all the information.

The designs were made by L&T's team in Delhi, along with the government's Central Design Organisation.

Although the project got a completion certificate, there were still damages and unfinished work.

The engineer who gave the certificate later asked L&T to fix the problems, but it seems the work wasn't done.

The report indicates that L&T did not reveal all the necessary information about the construction flaws.
