Two Gujarat-Cadre IAS Officers Ordered to Retire Early

Two IAS officers from Gujarat have been told to leave government service early.

Their names are Gaurav Dahiya and K Rajesh.

The government reviewed their work over the last 15 years.

A committee led by the state’s Chief Secretary carried out the review.

The decision was made under new pension rules for All India Services officers.

Rajesh has been suspended since July 2022.

Dahiya was working as an Additional Development Commissioner.

Dahiya had earlier faced charges including bigamy, fraud, and criminal intimidation, but he was later reinstated.
