McDonald’s India Sees Overwhelming Demand for Protein Plus Slice
McDonald's India introduced a new burger addition called the Protein Plus Slice in some parts of India.
This slice adds extra protein to your burger and is made from plants.
It was very popular, and many restaurants sold out quickly.
The new slice was made in collaboration with a research institute and doesn't have artificial colors or flavors, or onion and garlic.
Customers can now add the protein slice to their favorite burgers for more protein and a better food experience.
McDonald's India launched the Protein Plus Slice in West and South India.
Multiple outlets sold out of the new item on the first day.
Over 32,000 slices were served within 24 hours of launch.
The plant-based protein slice adds 5 grams of protein to burgers.
