Harry Potter Trailer Promises New Magic Amid Inevitable Fan Comparisons
A new Harry Potter television series has released a trailer.
It shows new actors playing Harry, Ron, and Hermione.
The story begins with the students arriving at Hogwarts.
It does not show Harry living with the Dursleys or receiving many letters.
The trailer uses improved visual effects to create more magic.
Some familiar characters, including McGonagall and Snape, also appear.
Fans may compare the new actors with the original movie cast.
The review says the trailer still gives fans reasons to feel hopeful.
The trailer introduces Dominic McLaughlin, Alastair Stout, and Arabella Stanton as Harry, Ron, and Hermione.
It begins with the students entering Hogwarts rather than showing the Dursleys or the flood of Hogwarts letters.
The review highlights upgraded visual effects intended to make the new adaptation feel more magical.
Janet McTeer appears as Professor McGonagall, while Paapa Essiedu makes a brief but striking appearance as Snape.
The new cast faces inevitable comparisons with the original film actors, though the trailer offers hope to fans.
