Telangana High Court Revives BCCI Ombudsman Proceedings in HCA Dispute

A court in Telangana is hearing a disagreement about how the Hyderabad Cricket Association is being managed.

An earlier court order had stopped a BCCI Ombudsman from examining the dispute.

A two-judge bench has now paused that earlier order.

This means the Ombudsman can continue looking into the case.

The proceedings will use Rules 40 and 41 of the BCCI Constitution.

The challenge was led by Supreme Court advocate Aditya Kumar Chowdhury.

Cricketers Gourav Sharma and Navarasan had earlier raised concerns about the association.

They said they wanted their concerns heard by the proper forum, not a personal victory.

They welcomed the court’s latest decision.
