AWL Agri Forecasts 8–9% Volume Growth for FY27
AWL Agri Business, known for its edible oil brand, says it expects its sales to grow by 8–9% next year even though there are worries about politics and weather.
In the first quarter, it sold more and earned more money, especially in its food products.
The company is buying more outlets and using online sales to reach more customers.
It also raised its prices a bit to cover higher costs, but still kept its profits up.
The CEO believes the brand is strong enough to keep customers buying even when costs rise.
AWL Agri Business forecasts 8–9% volume growth for FY27 despite geopolitical and El Nino risks.
The company posted 7% volume growth and 18% revenue growth in Q1 FY27, with EBITDA up 34% and profit after tax up 48%.
Foods segment led performance with 18% volume growth and 22% revenue growth, while edible oil grew 15% revenue but only 2% volume due to supply chain disruptions.
AWL plans to maintain Rs 600–700 crore capex, expand to 1 million direct outlets, and invest in alternate channels expected to reach 20% of volumes.
The company has passed higher input costs to consumers, preserving margins amid commodity inflation.
