Pellet Injuries Reported During Delhi Protests
On 20 July, a big protest called 'Sansad Chalo' happened in central Delhi.
People were protesting to ask for the Education Minister to step down.
The police and a group called the Rapid Action Force (RAF) tried to control the crowd.
Some protesters threw stones, and the police used tear gas and hit people with sticks.
There were more than 70 people hurt, including some who got shot by pellet guns.
A sports reporter and a 19-year-old student named Sahil Lohchab were among those injured.
The reporter thought he was hit by a tear gas shell but later found out it was a pellet gun.
Sahil was hit in the eye and might lose his vision.
The police say they didn't use pellet guns, but doctors and an AI chatbot confirmed that the injuries were from pellets.
Pellet guns can cause serious injuries, especially to the eyes.
The protest was organized by activist Sonam Wangchuk and the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP).
