JioBlackRock MF to Launch Flexi Cap Fund in India
JioBlackRock, a company by Jio and BlackRock, is starting a new type of fund called a Flexi Cap Fund.
This fund will be actively managed, meaning experts will choose which stocks to invest in across different sized companies.
It aims to grow your money by investing in many companies.
This is in addition to the index funds they recently launched.
The new fund will follow regulations that require most of the money to be invested in stocks.
It will be compared against the Nifty 500 TRI, to see how well it does.
JioBlackRock Mutual Fund filed documents with SEBI to launch the JioBlackRock Flexi Cap Fund.
The fund will be benchmarked against the Nifty 500 TRI and is an actively managed fund.
Flexi-cap funds invest in large, mid, and small-cap companies.
At least 65% of the fund's assets must be in equities.
The launch follows the initial offering of five passive index funds.
