YSRCP Accuses Andhra Coalition Government of Undermining Visakhapatnam Development

The YSR Congress Party criticized Andhra Pradesh’s coalition government over its handling of Visakhapatnam.

The party said the government was favoring Amaravati instead of developing Visakhapatnam.

Former minister Gudivada Amarnath said the city still faces serious drinking-water shortages.

He also said concerns about the Steel Plant were not being properly addressed.

Amarnath claimed that house-site projects for 1.30 lakh families had been stopped.

He alleged that valuable land was given cheaply to favored people and companies.

The government’s actions were described by YSRCP as political campaigning before local elections.

YSRCP said it would continue raising local people’s concerns.
