Uttar Pradesh Approves ₹115 Crore for Two New-City Projects

Uttar Pradesh’s government approved money for new-city projects in two areas: Mirzapur-Vindhyachal and Muzaffarnagar.

The first payment will be ₹115 crore.

The local development authorities will manage the projects.

The money comes through a state scheme for expanding cities in a planned way.

The scheme is meant to help provide better housing as more people live in cities.

The state set aside ₹3,500 crore for new-city development in the 2026-27 financial year.

The scheme can also help pay for some land-acquisition costs.
