India to Acquire More Heron Drones From Israel
India is buying more Heron drones from Israel to help watch over its borders with China and Pakistan.
These drones are like unmanned planes that can see things from far away.
The plan is to give these drones weapons, like missiles, so they can also attack targets.
These drones are already being used by the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
India is also working on making its own, similar drones.
India's Armed Forces will acquire more Heron UAVs from Israel.
Heron drones are used for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions.
Heron drones are deployed along the borders with China and Pakistan.
Plans include weaponizing the Heron drones with Spike-NLOS missiles.
