Health Department Uses Drones for Anti-Mosquito Spraying
Imagine tiny robots called drones helping to fight mosquitoes!
In Parvathipuram Manyam, the health department is using drones to spray a special liquid that kills mosquito babies in water.
This is happening in a tribal village called Gowduguda, targeting places where mosquitoes like to breed.
The health officials are hoping this will stop the spread of diseases that mosquitoes carry.
They're also still using the old methods like cleaning up water, and making sure there are medicines and tests available for the people.
The health officers even checked a school to make sure everything was clean and safe for the students.
Parvathipuram Manyam district launched drone-assisted anti-mosquito spraying.
The initiative targeted large stagnant water bodies in Gowduguda.
Temephos, a mosquito larvicide, was used in the spraying operation.
Drone technology enables large-scale mosquito control in less time.
The DMHO also inspected a tribal welfare residential school.
