Microsoft and Meta Steer Employees Toward In-House AI Tools
Microsoft and Meta have been encouraging workers to use AI tools they offer themselves.
Microsoft has directed staff toward GitHub Copilot, but engineers can still choose other models.
Meta has encouraged employees to use Muse Code and an internal tool called MetaCode.
As a result, the number of Meta employees using Anthropic’s Claude Code has fallen by about half.
