Dinakar advocates water resource management for Andhra Pradesh
Lanka Dinakar, a important official in Andhra Pradesh, talked to the press about how important it is to use water wisely.
He said that connecting the Godavari and Penna rivers, with a big project called Veligonda, is very important.
This project will give water to drink for many people and help farmers grow crops.
He also said that Andhra Pradesh has the right to use extra water from these rivers.

The project aims to provide drinking water to 60 lakh people and irrigation to 9.5 lakh acres, addressing drought and fluoride contamination.
Dinakar criticized the previous government for neglecting water projects and praised the current government for reviving them.
He asserted that Andhra Pradesh has a legitimate right to the surplus waters of the Godavari and Krishna rivers.
