Buxa Expands Awareness Drive Before Proposed Tigress Relocation
Buxa Tiger Reserve may receive a tigress from Bihar in October.
Before that happens, forest officials want local people to understand the plan.
They say villagers’ support is important for the relocation to work well.
Five teams will visit villages near the reserve to answer questions.
The reserve is also starting Tiger Cubs Clubs in 80 schools.
Students will learn about tigers, elephants and protecting nature.
They can share what they learn with their families and neighbours.
Officials hope this knowledge will stay with the children for a long time.
