Gen Z Review Finds Goodfellas Still Electrifying After 36 Years

Goodfellas is a movie about people involved in organized crime.

The reviewer says they once disliked gangster movies but found this one especially exciting.

One famous scene follows Henry and Karen through a club without cutting the camera.

This makes Henry seem powerful and important.

The movie also uses fast editing and music to keep the story moving quickly.

Its gangsters may look confident, but they are often nervous, petty, and frightened.

Karen is shown as more active and forceful than many women in similar crime stories.

The reviewer concludes that Goodfellas remains an important and stylish film after 36 years.
