AAP Demands Arrest of Satyam Pandit Over Alleged Assault on Minors
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is very upset because they say a man named Satyam Pandit and his friends hurt two young boys who were going home after a protest in Delhi.
The boys are from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh.
The AAP says the man and his friends not only hit the boys but also said mean things about their religion and maybe even had weapons.
The AAP has told the police about this and wants them to arrest the man quickly.
They even talked to the police boss and gave a written complaint.
If the police don't do anything, the AAP says they will go to court.
The AAP also wants to know who allowed the use of pellet guns during a protest in July and why it took so long for this to be known.
AAP demands immediate arrest of Satyam Pandit for allegedly assaulting two minor boys returning from a protest at Jantar Mantar.
The party submitted a written complaint to Delhi Police, naming both the victims and the accused.
AAP alleges communal abuse and weapon threats were involved in the assault.
Delhi Police have assured legal action will be taken, and the complaint has been submitted to Parliament Street police station.
AAP also seeks a probe into the alleged use of pellet guns during a July 20 protest and the delay in disclosing the incident.
