BJP MP's Wife Joins TMC
Aruna Mardi, the wife of a BJP MP named Khagen Murmu, decided to join the Trinamul Congress (TMC) party.
This happened at the TMC office in Kolkata.
She used to work for the BJP and even the CPI(M) before, but she said she didn't get any recognition.
She was happy to join the TMC because she likes the work their leader, Mamata Banerjee, is doing.
She wants to help the tribal community she represents.
Her husband, who is a BJP MP, said that the tribal people are not with the TMC anymore.
He also mentioned that Aruna hasn't lived with him for the past 12 years.

Mardi cited inspiration from Mamata Banerjee's development initiatives as her reason for joining TMC.

Khagen Murmu claimed that tribals no longer support TMC and alleged that Mardi has not lived with him for 12 years.
