BMC Extends IPHSA Tender Deadline Again
The BMC in Mumbai has extended the deadline for selecting a contractor for its IPHSA project, which aims to create a digital platform for easy access to government health schemes.
This is the fourth extension, with the new deadline set for December 9, 2025.
The project aims to streamline patient access to various health schemes, reduce paperwork, and improve hospital efficiency.
The rollout will happen in four zones across major BMC hospitals.
Contractors have asked for some changes, but the BMC has mostly stuck to the original plan.
BMC extends IPHSA tender deadline to December 9, 2025, marking the fourth extension due to poor response.
IPHSA aims to create a unified digital platform for government health schemes, streamlining patient access and reducing paperwork.
Contractors sought relaxations, including EMD in bank guarantee form and separation of software and operations tenders.
BMC clarified that EMD must be paid as prescribed and the tender will remain integrated to ensure clear responsibility.
IPHSA will cover multiple national and state health schemes and will be linked with hospital management software for real-time processing.
